Don't They Grow Up?

Younger Son.   Easily the reason for 2/3 of my silver highlights (aka gray hair).
Lost cell phone.  Stresses me out because no money for new cell phone.  No insurance for lost phones.  (I must look into that one, especially since Older Son accidently sent his through the auger of the corn combine.)
Claims looked everywhere for phone.
His roomie/landlord calls me to state found cell phone, on large bale of straw in barn.  Luckily before we plunk down money for new/used phone.
UGH!!
In the words in Judith Viorst in the  classic book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No-Good, Very Bad Day" : I think I'll move to Australia.

Yummy for the cows. Corn ala Cell Phone. I have a mom that does that, and no it's not Dementia or Alzheimer's. She's always been that way. She came home crazed one day when I was a young whipper snapper that she lost her glasses somewhere. Guess where they were? Yup On her hair.

Glad the cell phone was found and all is well and that the cows don't have upset tummies.

Well you can add this to the wonderful list of phones lost to farm stuff. So far we've added: run over by skidloader, run over by mixer wagon, dropped in wash water, and found in manure pit. We also have had some normal household incidents like the toilet, the shower, the washing machine. We are hard on our phones!
