With patience I plodded, though certainly a mere amateur.
After all, I avoided iambic pentameter.
But with haiku, limerick and plain old rhyme
I must admit poetry month has been a fun time.
After today, just one week more,
Then back to plain prose. Oh what a bore!
This daily posting to my blog is good mental exercise
But I will be glad to give it a rest, poetry-wise.
